The Lanesborough Celebrates Chelsea Flower Show with Afternoon Tea
In celebration of Chelsea Flower Show, The Lanesborough is introducing a floral themed afternoon tea -- enjoy floral accented pastries and jams under the magnificent glass roof of Apsleys, a Heinz Beck Restaurant. Award winning Head Pastry Chef Tal Hausen has worked with her team of pâtissieres to create an unforgettable afternoon tea inspired by flowers found at one of London's most iconic events.

Featured cakes and pastries will include Blackberry Violet cakes, Strawberry Hibiscus Caramel éclairs, Lavender Carmelia Champagne Moulleux and Raspberry Lemon Verbena Millefeuille. In addition, the traditional scone accompaniments will be exchanged for jasmine lemon curds and strawberry rose jams. By adding the Chelsea Flower Show afternoon tea to its award winning offering, The Lanesborough continues on its quest to offer guests only the most bespoke of experiences.

Guests will be able to draw upon the expertise of London's first and original Tea Sommelier, Karl Kessab, who will guide them through the extensive tea selection, which features over two dozen varieties, including The Lanesborough's own signature afternoon blend which is infused with whole rose buds.

The Chelsea Flower Show themed afternoon tea is served from May 23rd – 29th between 4pm and 5.30pm daily and costs £35.00 and £45.00 per person with Champagne and Strawberries respectively.

The Lanesborough is also inviting guests to an exclusive Fashion Afternoon Tea being held on July 1st and featuring designs from legendary London department store Harvey Nichols.
