The Langham Huntington, Pasadena Announces Opening of new Spa

The opening of the spa will elevate the current offerings at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, already known as an urban resort oasis located just minutes from Los Angeles and Hollywood. Uniting today's cutting-edge beauty technologies with indulgent rituals grounded in ancient modality, Chuan Spa is an innovative spa concept developed by Hong Kong-based Langham Hospitality Group and the only global spa brand based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Set within 11,000-square-feet, the new Chuan Spa at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena will display design influences from both the Chinese architectural and Pasadena's Arts & Crafts traditions. It will offer 12 treatment rooms, including two couple's suites, one of which is a completely private VIP Suite delivering the ultimate feeling of exclusivity. The innermost sanctuary of the new spa, this VIP Suite will feature two massage tables, flanked by lit decorative screens and adjoined by a spacious relaxation zone. In the suite's wet zone, an experience shower for two will include a steam shower with dual rain-heads and adjustable body-sprays and a built-in bench with spa amenities.

Further additions to the spa will include a Contemplation Lounge and Dream Room, both Chuan Spa standards; sauna; aromatic steam room; Jacuzzi; and a robust menu of massage, facial, hair, skin and nail services. Added features for Pasadena hotel guests will include a yoga and Pilates studio, space for meditation classes, and a running and cycle club. Individual spa memberships will be available featuring monthly special events such as beauty, health and wellness workshops, girlfriend getaways, and exclusive access to product launches and previews.
