The Leela Palace New Delhi, India Opens

Opening this weekend, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts will launch their stunning property in New Delhi on 17th April 2011.

The hotel, which is situated in the exclusive Diplomatic Enclave, close to the Prime Minister’s residence as well as a number of historical monuments including the India Gate, Raj Ghat & the Qutab Minar, sits on the corner of Africa Avenue and Vinay Marg in Chanakyapuri. With architecture inspired by Edwin Lutyens and designed by acclaimed architect John Gerondelis, The Leela Palace New Delhi, which occupies a three acre site, offers a combination of classical architecture with elements from historical North Indian palaces.

The Leela Palace New Delhi offers an exclusive rooftop pool with magnificent views over Delhi, four restaurants including the first Asian outpost of legendary restaurant brand Le Cirque which is situated on the hotel’s 10th floor, Indian restaurant Jamavar, Japanese eatery Megu, with International Cuisine available in The Qube. With an incredible ESPA spa spread over two levels offering ayurvedic inspired treatments in its seven treatment rooms and private spa suite, the 260 room eagerly awaited 5 star hotel promises to be a jewel in the heart of New Delhi.
