The Resort at Paws Up Announces First Winter Food & Wine Festival
Much like Paws Up's successful established weekend culinary events such as Montana Master Grillers event held every May and Montana Master Chefs event held every September, this gourmet weekend will feature outstanding guest chefs focused on hearty fare, blood-warming wine pairings, rejuvenating coffee roasters and plenty of adventures. This winter wonderland culinary experience will have a variety of educational and interactive opportunities available. Paws Up Executive Chef Ben Jones will be joined by some of the best in the business. All will be giving demonstrations and intimate seminars, providing unique opportunities to eat with–and cook with–some truly fantastic culinary talents.

Culinary Talent

WinterFest 2016 will feature dinners and unique interactive opportunities with world-class chefs including Paws Up's own Executive Chef Ben Jones, Chef Colby Garrelts and Chef Megan Garrelts from the Kansas City restaurants Bluestem and Rye along with Top Chef winner Chef Hosea Rosenberg (Boulder, Colorado's Blackbelly restaurant) and Top Chef competitor (first runner-up Season 10) and Paws Up favorite Chef Brooke Williamson (co-chef/co-owner of Playa Provisions, The Tripel, and Hudson house, Los Angeles). As part of the weekend event, guests will embrace the snow and partake in a myriad of wilderness adventures like snow-mobiling or cross country skiing with one-on-one interaction with these culinary powerhouses.

Pairings + Rejuvenation

The resort has guests covered both day and night as Master Sommelier Chuck Furuya will select hearty, blood-warming wines for the winter-themed meals and Big Creek Coffee Roasters will be providing after-dinner decaf and eye-opening brews in the morning (guests will also get the opportunity to learn how to prepare their own perfect cup of joe).
