The 19th British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz, from July 13 to 15, is a highlight for fans of British classic cars. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Engadin Alps, classic car enthusiasts from all over Europe put their exotic vehicles on show including Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and Jaguar cars. Among this year's 200 registered classic cars are a Bentley 4¼ litre Carlton, and a 1950 Healey Westland, an absolute rarity, and the fastest sports car of its time. The schedule features spectacular drives, a rally and the Concours d'Elégance, a beauty contest for four-wheeled competitors.

Between July 12 and August 12, the Engadin will be swinging to the Festival da Jazz, which is more than just Europe's foremost nightclub jazz festival. In recent years, insiders have discovered that the celebrated Dracula Club has become the place to rub elbows with international jazz greats and those up-and-coming greats. The tone of blue notes and various accents is set by an array of styles, as well as exceptional musicians.

From August 24 to September 2, St. Moritz and several locations in the Upper Engadin become the stage for the national and international art scene. The fifth festival of art and culture, St. Moritz Art Masters, offers an extensive palette of contemporary art – best viewed along the Walk of Art, and in other unusual venues, which set art and culture in a spectacular dialogue with nature. The exhibitions are accompanied by a symposium, workshops and panel discussions.

"Sailing on top of the world" is the motto of the 10th St. Moritz Match Race. From August 28 to September 2, Lake St. Moritz becomes the Mecca for sailors from all over the world. As part of the World Match Racing Tour – the World Championships in this discipline – the regatta brings together the finest Match racers, as they pitch their skills against the fierce Maloja wind, a feature of the Engadin mountains.
