Town House Palazzo Vecchietti Launches Butler Service

Inside of our luxurious Home every guest can be served by a Butler, an efficient personal assistant and "home director" for the guest and the home owner. The Butler is a precious event planner; he/she can make reservations to the best restaurants, book tickets to galleries and shows, he/ she will be there for the very busy people who have little time to take care of themselves. The butler will help you with your exclusive shopping and finding unique presents. The Butler will gift each guest or home owner of his/her time and unique expertise with discreet, serious and never invasive assistance. It is again the Butler who will take care of pets, in every little detail. He/she will book an helicopter to reach the best harbors for a sailing getaway, or a luxurious car to escape to enchanted locations. Every Butler is remarkably professional in the care he/she takes for the guests in the complete privacy of their home.

Town House Palazzo Vecchietti is the first example of Franchising Town House. 12 unique spaces, on different floors, furnished by the architect Michele Bonan, have revived this unique historic building with exclusive ambiance in tribute to the great names of Italian art and architecture.

"It has been like a family reunion – Alessandro Rosso, owner of the Town House brand, comments – Town House brings its philosophy ‘home far away from home’ also to the heart of Florence… after the Seven Stars of Milan we have reached a very important goal: our first house in a historic palace cited also by Dante Alighieri and built by Giambologna”. The largest apartment is the Leonardo da Vinci, which includes three separate areas, with two living rooms and a bedroom, a separate kitchen, and access to a large terrace with a view of the external courtyard. The shading of the wallpapers in this space is blue. The bed can be twin or double, with a wardrobe designed by Florentine artisans. There are two divans in the living space, which can be converted into double beds, four armchairs and an extendable dining table designed by the architect Michele Bonan, called “the boat”, in the kitchen. The kitchen is furnished with a fridge, dishwasher, electric stove in glass ceramics, extractor fan, water boiler, Nespresso coffee machine and coffee pads, kitchenware and cutlery. This exclusive space on the top floor provides two bathrooms in mou stone: one is connected to the first living room, with a shower and a Turkish bath, and another one with a bath tub that adjoins the sleeping room.

Town House Palazzo Vecchietti is located inside the historic Palazzo Vecchietti, a few steps away from Piazza Repubblica. It is a very antique palace, from the beginning of the XV century, built upon the design of Giambologna. The Vecchietti, mentioned also by Dante Alighieri (Paradiso XV, 115-117), were one of the most ancient and important Florentine families in the middle-ages. In 1578, Bernardo Vecchietti, owner of the palace, appointed Giambologna (1529-1608) to modernize the structure. Giambologna, in order to thank the family for their hospitality and protection on his arrival in Florence, created the diavoletto portabandiera, of which a copy can be found on the corner of Via degli Strozzi. The original is preserved in the terrace of Saturn in Palazzo Vecchio. The artwork was inspired by the "Canto dei Diavoli", on the corner with via Strozzi, in the Mercato Vecchio area.
