TravelChannel.com Announces 4th Annual BEST BEACH AWARDS 2015
The “Beach Week” celebration continues online starting Sunday, Feb. 15 through Thursday, Feb. 19, where fans can vote in a TravelChannel.com poll for their best overall beach. The winner will be unveiled on the website on Friday, Feb. 20.

TravelChannel.com editors enlisted a panel of experts that has collaboratively discussed, debated and determined the best beaches in 10 different categories. The 2015 “Best Beach Awards” expert panelists include: Nina Agdal (swimsuit model, Sports Illustrated), Chris DuComb (professional kitesurfer), Marianela Pereyra (host, “Marianela’s Best Beaches”), Tamala Prickett (luxury travel writer and founder, Chic Family Travels) and Sarah Fazendin (family travel blogger, A Week at the Beach).

The “Best Beach Awards” for 2015 (in alphabetical order by category title):

• Best Beach for Adventure: Praia do Futuro - Fortaleza, Brazil (pictured)

• Best Beach Bar: VICE also known as Nissakia Surf Club - Artemida, Greece

• Best Beach Boardwalk: Coney Island, N.Y.

• Best Exotic Beach: Ilhabela, Brazil

• Best Family Beach: Seaside, Fla.

• Best Party Beach: La Barra - Punta del Este, Uruguay

• Best Romantic Beach: Little Dix Bay - Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

• Sexiest Beach: Miami, Fla.

• Best Unusual Beach: Red Beach - Santorini, Greece

• Best Beach You Haven't Heard of Yet: Lake Atitlán - Guatemala
