Trio of Luxury Lodges Offer Ultimate New Zealand Experience

The trio of New Zealand luxury lodges - The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers, and Matakauri Lodge - announce The Tiger Tour 2013, an ultimate New Zealand experience based on owner and founder Julian H. Robertson Jr's vision of how guests can experience his favourite destination, New Zealand.

Julian H. Robertson Jr. has invested heavily in his love affair with New Zealand spanning 30 years. Together with his late wife Josie and their family, Julian has created three of the world's finest award-winning luxury lodges and two of the very best golf courses the world has to offer.

Following the success of the inaugural Tiger Tour earlier this year, the lodges are pleased to announce two tour options in March and April, 2013.

Both tours offer a combined nine nights across the three lodges - The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers and Matakauri Lodge, out of this world's destinations in the Bay of Islands, Hawke's Bay and Queenstown.

Incorporating the best of New Zealand's North and South Islands, the Tiger Tour showcases the most unique experiences New Zealand has to offer and provides the opportunity to meet some of the people who make New Zealand so special.

The nine night tour is inclusive of green fees at stunning golf courses, the choice of quintessential Kiwi experiences such as quad biking, horse riding, jet boating, sailing and a behind the scenes winery tour, along with the chance to mingle with distinctive 'kiwis', human and otherwise.

Tiger Tour guests will see and experience it all first hand - dramatic coastlines and rugged rural settings, mountains, lakes, beaches, rivers, forests, fiords, quaint and historic villages and vibrant towns.

Put simply, with each passing day this tour sets the extraordinary side by side with the intimate, and bathes it all in world-class luxury.

The March Tiger Tour by Private Jet will commence at Cape Kidnappers on the 11th of March, 2013. This tour is the ultimate New Zealand Land and Air Experience combining private jet and helicopter transfers between the properties. An exclusive tour limited to a maximum of four couples.

The April Tiger Tour will commence at Matakauri Lodge on the 15th of April and will include the same great activities and experiences as the March tour, the only difference being guests will be transported between the properties using New Zealand commercial domestic air carrier, Air New Zealand.

- Nine nights accommodation
- All meals
- A Dedicated guide throughout the itinerary
- Domestic commercial flights throughout the itinerary
- All ground transport between lodges, airports and excursions
- 18 holes of golf playing two of New Zealand's most spectacular courses, Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers, and the option to include a third course - Jacks Point in Queenstown
- Selected activities and excursions at each destination
