These highly prestigious awards are authorities in the travel industry and highlight the best of the best in luxury travel based on a variety of rigorous standards. The hotel is only one of 10 AAA Five Diamond Award properties in New York City and one of eight that has been honored with the Forbes Travel Guide’s Five Star Award this year.

Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Award sends anonymous professional inspectors around the world to rigorously assess hotels, restaurants, and spas against up to 500 objective standards including their location, amenities, strong reputation of exceptional service and facility quality. Trump Central Park has maintained its Five-Star Hotel Rating since 2009 in addition to the Five-Star Restaurant Rating for the hotel’s restaurant Jean-Georges since 2011, and the Four-Star Spa Rating for the Trump Spa New York since 2014.

Among the most well-known and respected trademarks in the global travel industry, the AAA Five Diamond status is the highest possible rating bestowed by the travel authority. Each year, AAA conducts unannounced, in-person evaluations at nearly 59,000 restaurants and hotels throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean to determine which properties will be awarded the prestigious Five Diamond designation. Following the rigorous evaluations from AAA’s professional inspectors, only 0.4 percent make the exclusive AAA Five Diamond list. Trump Central Park first received the Five Diamond award in 2011 and has consecutively upheld its Five Diamond rating since to meet the impeccable standard of excellence along with the hotel’s restaurant Jean-Georges, which first won the Five-Diamond Restaurant rating for the restaurant in 2008.
