Twin Farms to Host Writers' Retreat on November 15-18
Amy Bloom is an author of two novels, three collections of short stories, and a nominee for both the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award.

The land Twin Farms stands on was originally owned by Nobel prize-winning author Sinclair Lewis and journalist Dorothy Thompson.

Whether it's a wisp of an idea, or a full-blown manuscript, guests of the Twin Farms Writers' Workshop will explore their own possibilities.

The retreat welcomes all levels of experience where guests will receive kind and useful feedback from two master teachers while amongst a community of readers and writers. Morning workshops, afternoon naps, writing or walking or all three will be accompanied by exceptional cuisine and evening cocktails with new friends and readings.

In addition, guests can enjoy their whimsical accommodations with a desk and view while indulging in some of the finest cuisine in the Northeast backed by a wine cellar that provides an excellent reward for a hard day's writing.

Twin Farms offers guests a range of on-site activities to take advantage of during their stay such as a award-wining spa, soak in the 104 degree Japanese style soaking tub (Furo), hiking and puzzling (Stave puzzles).

The retreat will kick-off Sunday with a cocktail reception hosted by Amy and Monday and Tuesday will be filled with one-one-one writing consultations with Amy herself, group workshops and open mic readings.
