The eternally youthful Yasmin Le Bon recently took a break from her hectic schedule to spend time with fellow Brit and former supermodel Gail Elliott, at the luxury resort of qualia on Hamilton Island in Australia.

Yasmin described qualia a "One of the most luxurious places I've ever visited. qualia is cool and understated, but not intimidating. I'm sure I will come here again. qualia really is a special place. Exclusive, yes, but not at all pretentious."

During their stay, Le Bon and Elliott spent their time lounging by their private plunge pool, relaxing at Spa qualia (Yasmin enjoyed a 'LI'TYA Kodo' rhythmic body massage inspired by Aboriginal techniques) as well as savoring the resort's selection of fine food and wines.

Gail Elliott, founder and designer of the stylish Australian label 'Little Joe Woman', plans to return to Hamilton Island in August (24th – 27th) for one of the highlights of Australia’s events calendar, Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. Gail will be showcasing her latest fashion collection at Hamilton Island Yacht Club which will be followed by a styling session and trunk show at qualia.



Yasmin and Gail are just the latest in an increasing number of fashion designers to have chosen qualia as their holiday destination – others include Collette Dinnigan, Donna Karan, Nicholas Ghesquiere and Michael Kors.

Meanwhile, other celebrities to have stayed at qualia include Oprah Winfrey, Dannii Minogue, actresses Toni Collette and Mischa Barton, Sir Ian Botham, Gordon Ramsay, Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso, Jeremy Clarkson and James May.
