Villa d'Este Unveils its Third Private Villa: Villa Garrovo

Villa d'Este Unveils its Third Private Villa: Villa Garrovo
With six bedrooms, the new Villa is sure to please the most discerning guests, combining the renowned classic service and amenities of Villa d'Este with the seclusion of one's own villa.

Originally named Chalet Suisse, the Villa was built in 1833 by the then owner Baron Ciani, and rapidly became a favourite getaway for Royalty, Hollywood starlets, musicians, writers and discerning travellers. Completely refurbished, it is now renamed Villa Garrovo after the mountain stream that flows into Lake Como.

With accommodation across 7,535 square feet, the Villa features a spacious living room with large windows offering expansive views over the Lake. Spanning three floors, each bedroom features an ornate marble bathroom, whilst other property highlights include a fully equipped kitchen, multi-functional gym and relaxation room.

Respecting the elegant atmosphere of Villa d'Este, the Villa has a classic design which complements the traditional harmonic features of the lake. A bright veranda opens onto a hidden garden, where guests can relax and unwind, whilst a second terrace with a large patio provides a picturesque spot to enjoy alfresco suppers and drinks.

“We are very proud to unveil Villa Garrovo. It is the ideal place for families and friends looking for a private home away from home yet with all comforts offered by the Villa d'Este and is perfect for very exclusive high-end stays” says Danilo Zucchetti, Managing Director of Villa d'Este Hotels.
