Vivid Sydney Lights Up The Star
The Star will be hosting a major light show throughout each evening on the exterior of the hotel towers, together with the harbour-facing “Vivid Lounge” on Sky Terrace and a huge range of Vivid-themed accommodation, dining and entertainment offerings.

The Star's inaugural Vivid light installation will capture ‘the thrill of Sydney' by combining the technical genius of The Electric Canvas with the internationally acclaimed design group, The Glue Society. The projections will depict Sydney's world-famous lifestyle with spectacular colour and creativity which will be visible from within The Star, and many vantage points throughout Sydney.

Located on Sydney Harbour, with its own light rail station, ferry wharf and parking, and within easy walking distance of many of this year's installations, The Star offers the perfect base from which to discover what 2014's Vivid Sydney is all about.

Vivid Lounge @ Sky Terrace, perched atop The Star, will be a central feature of the festival, serving hungry revellers from a variety of pop-up food stations including tacos, sushi, sliders and cocktails, all whilst guests can relax and savour the views of the illuminated city skyline and Harbour Bridge.

Integrating the festival into the entire property/entertainment destination, The Star will offer Vivid-themed dining and entertainment across the 20 food and beverage outlets within the complex. Fine dining opportunities will include a cocktail and canapé treat ($25) from BLACK by ezard and Cherry bar will offer live bands throughout the festival whilst serving City Lights cocktails ($12); a white pink grapefruit Cosmopolitan twist, flamed with fresh grapefruit.

From 6:00pm to midnight every night, between 23 May to 9 June inclusive, visitors will be able to view The Star's illuminations, taking part in the globally renowned creative festival.
