Experts in yoga, massage therapy, and ‘raw food' will be on hand at COMO Shambhala Urban Escape throughout March as part of a dedicated ‘Wellness Month' at Metropolitan by COMO, Bangkok. The schedule is open to guests of the hotel.

The Perks

• Yoga for Urbanites: Yoga expert Shane Cox will show how to de-stress through yoga.
• Strengthening the Core through Pilates: This class is led by instructor Bell Suphatachaya Lattisophonkul.
• Face Yoga with Chatrisa Srisarntiwong: The half-day workshop will show you how to tighten tone and combat the signs of ageing.
• Musculoskeletal Deep Tissue Therapy with Rohan Quarry Day: deep tissue massage like no other that was designed specifically to relieve the pain of sports injuries.

The Experts

Diana Von Cranach

International raw food guru. Her cookbook, Rawfully Good, was the first raw food cookbook to focus on Asian cuisine, specifically dishes of SouthEast Asia. Diana will be on the property, available to answer all questions and advise on diet choices.

Rohan Quarry Day

Rohan hails from Australia and has developed his Musculoskeletal Deep Tissue Therapy, consulting with clients in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Singapore, and London. His clientele includes Olympic Medalists, triathletes, professional golf and tennis players, surfers, and yoga instructors. A Strength Coach and Personal Trainer, Rohan has honed his skills over 10 years, combining Active Isolated Stretching, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and Deep Tissue Sports Massage to bring extraordinary relief, relaxation and healing.

Shane Cox

Owner of Yoga Elements, nominated by Travel & Leisure as Bangkok's best yoga studio, Shane is an accredited Yoga Alliance instructor who specializes in postural alignment, using myofascial anatomy and movement therapy. Shane draws teachings from all schools for her practice, including Yin Yoga, Ashtanga, Vanda Scaravelli, Anusara and Iyengar. She also incorporates Yoga Therapies such as Body-mind Centering and Anatomy Trains by Tom Myers.

Bell Suphatachaya Lattisophonkul

Ms. Bell takes her experience as a dance choreographer and singer and is passionate about bringing movement into her pilates practice. A certified Balanced Body Pilates Mat instructor and anatomy specialist, Bell works with groups and individuals on tailoring programs that strengthen the core while lengthening the body.

Chatrisa Srisarntiwong

Ms. Chatrisa, a celebrated author on wellness and yoga and owner of Chatris Yoga House, is an actress and producer. Ms. Chatrisa specializes in face yoga, which entails working specific facial muscles to create a lifting effect. Chatrisa has championed not only pre-natal yoga but also the benefits of yoga in all aspects of work and home life.
