Wine, Yes, But Yoga in Bordeaux?

Wine, Yes, But Yoga in Bordeaux?
Taking advantage of its stunning location and warm climate, Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa has created the new Hatha Yoga experience, including:

• One night's accommodation for two in a Deluxe room
• Breakfast at ‘The Bordeaux', the hotel's 19th century Belle-Epoque brasserie
• One-hour yoga session and Yemaya tea
• Free access to the NUXE spa ‘Les Bains de Léa' and Fitness Centre

A certified yoga instructor can conduct Hatha Yoga sessions, a 15th century system of yoga described by Yogi Swatmarama. The one-hour session combines a series of poses with breathing exercises, enabling guests to relax and unwind whilst at the same time increasing flexibility and muscle tone. Afterwards, guests can soak in the sun's rays from the roof terrace and enjoy one of Yemaya's revitalising herbal teas for a moment of prolonged relaxation.

Inspired by the nearby Bassin d'Arcachon (in English, Arcachon Bay), guests can also step out onto the rooftop for the panoramic Jacuzzi-terrace, where a range of spa treatments have been created for this outdoor space. These include a NUXE Prodigious Oil massage on the sand, using smooth methodical strokes to transport guests to the Bassin d'Arcachon – an oasis of calm overlooking the rooftops of Bordeaux.

Offering over 1,000 square metres on the top three floors of Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa, NUXE Spa ‘Les Bains de Léa' showcases ten treatment rooms (including two doubles), a Roman-inspired indoor counter-current swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and state-of-the-art fitness studio.

This Hatha Yoga experience is available for the next two months and priced at €480 (approx. US$638), excluding city taxes and subject to availability.
