YTL Hotels Announces Its Fifth Property in the United Kingdom
Located in the heart of London, Threadneedles is housed in a Victorian building, originally used as a banking hall, which was restored to a luxury hotel in 2002. The hotel features 74 rooms and suites, with contemporary design in line with the banking heritage of the property. Threadneedles also includes Wheeler's Restaurant, offering a modern British dining experience. The old banking counter has been repurposed as a Champagne Bar for guests to pull up a stool and enjoy fresh oysters and champagne.

The five-star boutique hotel retains the building's period features, such as its original 19th century stained glass dome, corniced ceilings and ornate wrought-iron window grilles. Situated just steps from the financial and economic heart of London's Square Mile, Threadneedles is in walking distance to the Bank of England, the old Royal Exchange, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern Museum and Tower Bridge, giving guests the convenience of nearby cultural explorations.

This acquisition expands YTL Hotels' properties under Marriott International's Autograph Collection to a total of four with The Glasshouse in Edinburgh, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur, slated to launch this month.
