Homemade breakfast every morning. At 1900 Inn on Montford, guests receive a delicious, homemade, three course breakfast every morning to enjoy. For those staying in the main house, breakfast is served on the front porch or dining room, and for those staying in the private carriage house, breakfast is delivered so guests can enjoy their meal privately on their patio.

Live music and cocktail hour. Settle in for an hour of mountain music. Every Saturday evening from 6-7pm, guests can enjoy a complimentary happy hour beverage and live music, featuring a blend of bluegrass, folk, and country tunes. Local musicians from all over the Asheville area come together to play a compilation of their favorite songs. And now, after many years of offering this special evening, the inn has been able to host 40 different local artists.

At 1900 Inn on Montford, guests can choose to stay either in the main house or book a suite in the private carriage house that features two 400+ square foot rooms and a luxurious 1,300 square foot suite each with its own private patio.

Each room and suite at the inn feature bathrooms designed to delight, pamper, and relax with elements ranging from fiber-optic “starry” floors and whirlpools, to ceiling mounted rain head showers with multiple jets and steam baths. The bathroom in the Fitzgerald room even went viral on Pinterest for its captivating two person jetted tub that fills from the ceiling, a separate “walk in” shower with a ceiling mounted rain-head shower fixture plus a hand shower and “twinkling” fiber optic lighting on the floor and ceiling.This is luxury and restoration rarely experienced in historical bed and breakfast inns. Aside from the stunning bathrooms, all accommodations at 1900 Inn on Montford are furnished with cozy fireplaces. Each room is a mini escape of its own for a vacation that’s unlike any other.

The inn is an intimate and enchanting venue for weddings, anniversaries, babymoons, bridal showers, and other personal milestones. The Inn exemplifies the Arts and Crafts style made popular in Asheville by noted society architect, Richard Sharp Smith, supervising Architect to Biltmore House. The house is considered to be one of his finest residential commissions. Today it has a Four-Diamond rating and is a part of Select Registry. It’s a bed and breakfast inn elegantly furnished with English and American antiques dating from 1730 to 1910.
