Owners, Louisville investors and philanthropists, Laura lee Brown and Steve Wilson created 21c based on their own passion for Art and the theory that it could serve as a destination in the city's revived and vibrant downtown area. With this initiative 21c Museum Hotel, Proof on Main and 21c Museum International Contemporary Art Foundation (ICAF) was born. The three create an innovative union of modern technology, southern hospitality, and pure luxury - all anchored by world class contemporary art from emerging and internationally acclaimed living artists.
