Aria Hotel - Prague, Czech Republic - 5 Star Luxury Hotel

   » MAP

ROOMS & SUITES: 52

The Aria Hotel is superbly situated in center of Prague, in the heart of the Mala Strana - or Little Quarter - district.

Mala Strana is the most picturesque district of Prague, known for its Baroque palaces and old houses. Little construction has taken place here since the 18th century and the area has retained much of its traditional character.

Buildings are decorated with statues and house signs that tell of the original use of the building, or the name of its original owner. The steep narrow streets and steps winding up towards the Castle have an air of romance and mystery, making the area a favorite location for film sets such as Amadeus, Mission Impossible, XXX and Blade. The Charles Bridge and St Nicholas Church are within 5 minutes reach, Prague Castle is a short 15-minute walk, and the Old Town Square, Jewish Quarter and Rudolfinium are just 20 minutes walk away across the Charles Bridge. Other Major tourist sites such as Wenceslas Square, The State Opera House and the National Theater can also be reached within 15 to 20 minutes.

Opened in 2003, the Aria Hotel is Prague's most unique 5-star hotel. The interior is the work of Italian architects Rocco Magnoli and Lorenzo Carmellini – known above all for their cooperation with fashion legend Gianni Versace. The 52 guestrooms and suites celebrate composers from every musical genre, including jazz, opera, classical, and contemporary. From the music library to the private screening room and the guest rooms, you can explore the Aria's array of imaginative opportunities to experience the joy of music. Rooms facing south, overlooking the baroque Vrtba Gardens and the Church of Our Lady Victorious, have the best views. All rooms offer high-speed Internet access and flat-screens. A collection of CD's, music DVD's, and music literature can be enjoyed in the hotel's music library or the privacy of a guestroom.

The rooftop restaurant offers panoramic city views during the summer months. Vrtbovska Garden, adjacent to the hotel and a popular attraction for Prague visitors, is visible from the hotel's fitness room. We recommended this hotel for Romance, Honeymoons, Weddings, Leisure and Business travel. Prague is lovely in October, when the Prague Jazz Festival attracts top talent. September and Christmas are also very nice, but it's best to avoid July and August if you have a problem with tourist crowds.

52 Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Junior Suites; 9 Deluxe Suites and Luxury Suites: The 4 guestroom floors of the Aria Hotel are each dedicated to a different musical genre: Jazz, Opera, Classical or Contemporary Music. Each of the 52 rooms and suites celebrates an individual artist or composer who was particularly influential in their genre from Dvorak to Elvis, Mozart to Billie Holiday. Each room offers original artwork, a selection of books and a flat screen computer with the biography of the honored artist as well as a collection of his music.
