At pan-Asian restaurant East, the French chef turns out rice-wrapped shrimp and wok-roasted conch, while Indigo on the Beach, serves a supermodel-light menu, including chargrilled mahi mahi with chorizo dressing. Excursions to nearby Barbuda or Dominica are easy to arrange, although Carlisle Bay itself, an azure crescent shrouded by verdant jungle, is a hard backdrop to beat.
