Cliveden, on the banks of the River Thames, was a favorite of Queen Victoria,who would come here for afternoon tea. Lavish accommodations feature exquisite furnishings, fireplace, stunning views over the surrounding 18th century landscaped gardens, and a sumptuous deep soaking bathtub. Enjoy 3-course a-la-carte dinners in grand style at The Terrace. Cliveden Spa is a beautiful facility with seven massage and treatment rooms, an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. Golf on a championship course at the nearby Lambourne Club. Cliveden has five vintage Slipper launches - the most famous is the 90-year old Suzy Ann, which has a cabin to seat 12.
