Boca Raton Resort & Club offers five distinct styles of deluxe guestrooms and suites. The Cloister, built in 1926, is the Resort's signature building and features Mediterranean-influenced antiques and architecture. The 27-story Tower overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway features inspiring views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Resort grounds. The Boca Beach Club offers deluxe accommodations footsteps from the ocean. The golf experience at the Resort is highlighted by two championship 18-hole golf courses and a new golf clubhouse. The Resort Course – Par 71 plays 6,253 yards from back tees. Embracing the ambience of Spain’s legendary Alhambra Palace, the 50,000 sq-ft spa includes sunning terraces, palatial gardens dotted with cascading waterfalls, an opulent bath area, a private spa pool and a vast array of treatments.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Embark on a tour of the Everglades or take in a famed polo match. Resort tennis, fitness, championship golf, beachside activities like snorkeling, and a half dozen enticing eateries await. Energize with a speedboat ride or, if leisure is more your speed, try a languid sunset catamaran cruise.

Boca’s Red Reef Park is perhaps the best system of beachfront parks in South Florida and a wonderful area for fishing, sailing, water-skiing, surfing and scuba diving. For golf, try the semi-private Mizner Trail Golf Club or the Southwinds Golf Course. The American Dive Center offers scuba diving and snorkeling.

Museums include the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the International Museum of Cartoon Art. For outdoor adventure, visit the oddly named Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, an environmental education center tucked into 20 acres of lush vegetation. Palm Beach is only a short drive away. Take a cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway or visit the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreser Park in West Palm Beach and see the Henry Flagler Museum, housed in Flagler’s former mansion on Coconut Row.
