Set in the Aravalli hills of Rajasthan, the 18th century palace, Devi Garh casts a mighty profile against the Indian horizon.

It is an eclectic mix of the traditional and the modern. 30 suites adorned with details in semi-precious stones, with separate dining and sitting areas, feature seamless white marble furniture and bedrooms with terrazzo-tiled floors. A wide range of facilities, include heated swimming pools, a gymnasium and riding. Alternatively, traditional ayurvedic massages, yoga and meditation are on hand for those who prefer something a little more reflective. The restaurant at Devi Garh features authentic, home-cooked Asian cuisine and innovative continental dishes. Guests who choose not to leave the luxury of their room can make use of the 24-hour in-room dining facilities, but for something really special, one can dine in the other private venues available. This spectacular heritage property, complemented by personalised and intimate service, creates a new image of India for the 21st century.

ACCOMMODATIONS

All of the 39 suites at Devi Garh are unique; luxurious and beautiful, yet equipped with the most modern facilities to make a guest feel totally at home. The premium suite, called Devi Garh suite, has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, of its own. Each suite is embellished with marble and semi-precious stones, while the public spaces are designed around different metals. Eight tents are also available on request from October to March.
