From Dunton, virgin basins of deep powder are accessible in 7 minutes of flying time.
EXPLORE
Dunton Hot Springs provides an excellent base for exploring the Four Corners region with archaeological sites of the American Southwest. Dunton's proximity to Telluride offers access to world-class alpine skiing. In the lower altitudes of the red rock deserts to the south, visitors have access to many of the great Anasazi archaeological sites of the American Southwest. Dunton is also well within driving range of Monument Valley, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, Hovenweep National Monument, Canyon of the Ancients National Monument, Mesa Verde National Park, the Silverton Skyway, and the narrow gauge railway from Durango to Silverton. GETTING THERE
Telluride - 2 hours in winter/1 hour in summer; Cortez - 1 hour; and Durango - 2 hours.
Dunton Hot Springs is located on West Dolores Road, off of Hwy 145 between Telluride and Cortez. Elevation: 8,700 feet
Luxury SUV or helicopter can be arranged for an additional charge.
Transfers to/from Cortez Municipal Airport (CEZ) are about a 75 minute drive and cost approximately $150 per car, each way (max 3 passengers). CHILD POLICY
Children 12 and under are no additional cost using existing bedding within maximum occupancy. PET POLICY
Pets are permitted in some cabins for an additional $50 per pet, per night. SMOKING POLICY
