This grand hilltop manor house dates back to 1672, but it has only been a hotel since 1998; the feeling is less like a hotel stay and more like a visit to a friend's country estate.

Stunning location on a hill overlooking the Mallorcan Village of Puigpunyent. Interiors are classic Mallorcan, and the arched doorways, timber beams, and canopy beds add to the hotel's authenticity. Air conditioning, DVD players, satellite television, wireless Internet, and marble bathrooms with heated floors.

Traditional Mediterranean cuisine in the restaurant quaintly centered around the island's largest olive press, perhaps as a reminder to stay true to the hotel's Mallorcan roots.
