The history of the Palafitte Hotel lies in the future. Opened in the Spring of 2002 Hôtel Palafitte is located on one of the most prized sites of the Three Lakes Region, in Monruz, on the very edge of the Lake of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland. Its state-of-the-art technology makes the Hôtel Palafitte a vision of what a hotel should be while still meeting the rigorous requirements of a luxury hotel.

The Hôtel Palafitte, built on piles in the open countryside, is unique in Europe and gives an impression of well being in a quiet and relaxing lakeside setting. The hotel's suites are sleek and modern, with hardwood floors and contemporary furnishings. All have either double or twin beds, minibar, "Nespresso" machine, strong-box, air conditioning, individual "SIM-pad", remote-control for in-room devices, plasma television screen and a Home Video Surround system. A shower to wake you up in the morning, a hot bath to relax you at night - the bathroom is the ideal place to gather your wits.

You can take your breakfast or enjoy a beautiful Summer's evening as you gaze out over an uninterrupted view of the Lake and the Alps, comfortably seated on your private terrace. The " Le Bar" bar is an elegant and cozy area where the atmosphere changes throughout the day and way into the night.
