Lake Okareka Lodge is a stylish 7,072-square-foot lake house with three luxury suites, including an executive suite featuring a lounge, spa, private office and walk-in wardrobe. The lodge is booked to only one couple, family or group at a time and can accommodate up to nine guests.


All suites are understatedly elegant and spacious with air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and showers, private balconies, in-room Internet access and plasma screen TVs. This gated estate features a private jetty and boathouse, private beaches and a helipad. Nanny and butler services can be arranged.

Lake Okareka Lodge is a scenic 15-minute drive from Rotorua City and Regional Airport, approximately 2.75 hours from Auckland and 5 hours from Wellington by car. By air it is a 45-minute flight from Auckland and approximately 1.25 hours from Wellington and from Christchurch. The lodge can also be accessed via floatplane or helicopter.
