Art and opera have married to produce a collection of 8 rooms, each deeply romantic and immaculately decorated in colours influenced by the 15th century painter Piero della Francesca, and their names inspired by operas and operatic characters. The rouge-walled La Boheme, complete with Jacuzzi spa, is perfect for honeymooners while La Traviata is full of spirit and space, its walls painted the yellow of sun-bleached corn with shades of summer green trompe l'oeil decoration.. All bedrooms, and tranquil sitting rooms, are blessed with uplifting Umbrian sunlight flooding in through the windows.

The 40ft swimming pool enjoys the same stunning views as the Palazzo. There is also a jacuzzi, changing rooms and showers for the guests to use.

Guests can admire the same view privately from their room or while sipping Prosecco by the refreshing pool as it reflects the eggshell blue of the Umbrian sky. At this blissful retreat you can be at one with nature in an ancient and traditional region of Europe.

Palazzo Terranova Fitness Center - The recently added fitness centre with cross trainer, treadmill, weights and exercise bike takes advantage of the surrounding mountain views. There is also an outside jacuzzi, changing rooms and showers for the comfort of guests.

Wine Tours – Visit Montefalco for the famous Sagrantino wine and Montalcino for the famous Brunello. Chianti is also just a short drive away over the hills into Tuscany. Tastings and tours of wineries can be arranged.

Tennis and Golf – there are tennis courts nearby (10mins drive) if you would like a court reserved, please ask one of the reception staff. Also, there is a 18 hole Golf Course approx. 30 mins drive from Palazzo Terranova.
