Oberoi Vanyavilas, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is a luxury jungle resort on the edge of the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve, 180 kilometres from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The resort setting is picture-perfect with a dramatic watercourse and sun-kissed private decks.

Accommodations are in well-appointed luxury tents with finely embroidered canopies, luxurious bathrooms with freestanding Victorian bathtubs and separate shower stalls and private walled gardens for sunning. The tents are placed discreetly within the 20-acre jungle estate so that guests can fully appreciate the natural peace and beauty of the location. Two restaurants serve international and Indian cuisine, and a swimming pool and luxury Spa by Banyan Tree of Thailand complete the indulgence. A watchtower provides marvellous views of the entire area and there are lectures on the regional flora and fauna. The 20 acres provide a remarkably peaceful and serene environment. The low laying hills and mountains of the wildlife sanctuary provide beautiful vistas. Pathways throughout the landscaped gardens. (Seasonal Hotel - Closed July 1 to September 30) Luxury tents are 790 sq.ft. and air-conditioned, with full amenities and enclosed in a private walled garden. The luxury tents have an embroidered canopy, which forms the ceiling. All our Tents have four-poster king size and twin beds with double vanity counters, free standing colonial bath tubs and polished wood flooring.
