This is the only boat on the Nile with a full-service spa. All cabins have large picture windows for viewing life on the banks of the Nile. Knowledgeable Egyptologist guides -- The maximum number of guests per guide is 6 to 8.
The cruise goes from Luxor to Aswan or Aswan to Luxor, but we recommend going Luxor to Aswan. The Oberoi Zahra is not handicap-accessible, except for one cabin. Discretionary gratuity for the staff is not included. It is recommended that guests tip between $200 to $250 per cabin. Guests can leave the gratuity in an envelope and drop it off at reception at the end of the cruise when it will be distributed between all staff members. The dress code on the ship is casual except for dinner, which is smart casual. If you are a U.S. or Canadian citizen, you will need a visa and a passport that has at least one blank page and is valid for 6 months. Visas can be purchased upon arrival at an Egyptian airport for approx. US$15.00.
