ROOMS & SUITES: 4 Suites & 10 Cottages Twin Farms today upholds the tradition of graceful hospitality and quiet beauty. For those tired of ostentation, Twin Farms offers simplicity and understated elegance. A hotel, perhaps one of the finest in the world, set amidst the high hills and old roads of Barnard, in a house that was once home to two of the most important American writers of this century.
The architecture of Twin Farms honors the classic Vermont traditions in building and design, every structure serene and balanced. Stone and pine, maple and brick, rich colors, soft patterns and gorgeous antiques combine to form a realm of purely personal luxury.
There are 15 distinctive accommodations at Twin Farms. Four are large private suites in the Main House: spacious, sumptuous, and quiet rooms, each with a fireplace, full bath, sitting area, and pastoral view. The others are graceful cottages built of stone and wood, each unique in its own secluded environment, set throughout the property. Every cottage has at least one fireplace as well as all of the amenities of the suites. Each cottage has a screened porch, some terraces, and all have a totally private place in the landscape. The rooms are spacious and imaginative, and always supremely luxurious: inspired by Vermont, the seasons, and the love of indulgence.
