Eden Rock - St Barths Introduces Rock Bar and a Rare Release of LOUIS XIII Le Mathusalem

Signature cocktails featured on the Rock Bar menu include the Lotus Martini, Eden Garden, Chili-Chili Bang Bang, and "La Corne On the Rocks,” a genuine cow-horn containing Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, Chambord liqueur, fresh raspberries, mint and cranberry juice. Rock Bar mixologists even engrave some horns with the names of regular guests. Those with a preference for vintage cocktails can opt for a Manhattan or a Bourbon Sour, while non-alcoholic “Mocktails” are also available, including a Virgin Coconut Mojito and Pmm'fizz. Rock Bar mixologists also introduce the innovative concept of a trolley bar that mixes cocktails at the table.

Eden Rock's star-rated Chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, plays a hand in creating original cocktails, which are designed to accompany tapas. The Cucumber and Mint Martini is served with Local Fish Sashimi, and the Deliciously Spicy Cocktail is served with Crispy Salmon Sushi. Other delicacies available on the menu include Lobster Tacos, Petrossian Beluga or French Imperial Caviar, and Spice Chicken Samosas, among others. The cocktail menu additionally features after-dinner drinks, liqueurs and cigars.

Rock Bar is previewing a rare release of LOUIS XIII Le Mathusalem, the world's first six-litre crystal decanter. Crafted by Baccarat, the LOUIS XIII Le Mathusalem contains a blend of up to 1,200 eaux-de-vie drawn exclusively from Grande Champagne. Each decanter takes four generations of cellar masters over 100 years to craft. Eight times the size of a traditional bottle of LOUIS XIII, Le Mathusalem requires the skill of two dozen master craftsmen to create using a traditional technique handed down over generations. Available for purchase through the Rock Bar, thedecanter comes with a hand crafted oak and leather case, eight hand-blown crystal Pillet glasses, a note from the LOUIS XIII Cellar Master, Baptiste Loiseau, and an invitation to Cognac for four people to experience the LOUIS XIII legend.
