Treasure Valentine's Day in the Serengeti

For a Valentine's Day like no other, share this special evening in a relaxed poolside dinner with your loved one, followed by a movie under the stars at the pop-up cinema on Maji Terrace.

On Tuesday 14 February, the team of Maji Bar and Terrace will be waiting to welcome couples with a glass of sparkling wine to toast to the occasion, while the chefs prepare a special menu for the evening. Following dinner, couples may snuggle up poolside to watch a movie at the pop-up cinema, with refreshments of popcorn and s'mores served throughout.

Celebrate Easter on Safari

As the Easter holidays approach, where better to celebrate your family vacation than on safari in the Serengeti? This year, Easter Sunday falls on April 16, meaning the Park will be beautifully green from the rains of March and April and the early herds of the Migration will be traveling northwards towards the Central Serengeti.

From spotting big cats on game drive adventures to taking a dip in the pool just feet from the elephants, there is no end of activities for all ages to enjoy. At the Lodge, little ones can look forward to movie nights by the pool, wildlife treasure hunts and the chance to learn the skills of a Maasai warrior with spear throwing at the Maasai Olympics!

For the perfect poolside sundowner, learn how to make your own cocktail or mocktail in a mixology class with our expert bartenders or unearth the secrets of African cuisine in a cooking class at Kula's Restaurant and sample your creations in a leisurely lunch at Maji Terrace.

The Discovery Centre provides the ideal place to continue your animal education on return from safari and you can choose from a number of wildlife documentaries to view. For those who seek relaxation, the signature Kifaa massage at the Spa awaits, where a warmed wooden ‘rungu' stick is used to gently ease muscle tension in a soothing deep-tissue treatment.
