Inside the Five-Star Vietnam Resort Where Trudeau, Trump and Putin Will Meet
The resort will welcome world leaders Trump, Putin and Trudeau along with heads of government from all 21 member economies, thousands of delegates, world-leading entrepreneurs and international journalists.

Located on a private peninsula in Danang, Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is a hillside resort and spa built into the myth-filled Monkey Mountain and it overlooks a 700-metre private bay. The five star resort was designed by architect Bill Bensley who blended Vietnamese design, history and mythology to create a resort over four levels - Heaven, Sky, Earth and Sea.

The resort’s accommodation includes classic rooms and suites to luxurious private villas. Bensley’s contemporary design imaginatively plays with traditional Vietnamese forms and motifs, which can be seen throughout with sunshine yellow and lime green tones. The resort is also home to the ‘Nam Tram’, a unique funicular set among the tropical tree tops, taking guests from Heaven to Sea level.

La Maison 1888, with an award-winning cellar is one of the resort’s many restaurants, and is headed up by multi-Michelin starred Pierre Gagnaire. Guests can also enjoy an array of activities from morning yoga, lantern making classes to private movie screenings, themed karaoke rooms and can even pop by the onsite night club.

Complete with spacious balconies, each bedroom has a luxury bathroom with separate bathtub, rainforest shower and double vanity sinks. The luxury beachfront villas span up to 800sqm and include not one, but two private infinity pools and come complete with personal butler, chauffeur and private chef.
