New Active Adventures from Four Seasons Bali

New Active Adventures from Four Seasons Bali
But as an increasing number of travelers look for new and more active ways to experience a destination, Four Seasons Resorts Bali has launched new adventure tours and wellness programs to get you off the beaten track and on the road to health. Stay in shape with a variety of activities at the riverside mountain retreat of Four Seasons Sayan, and the traditional beach resort of Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay:

Yoga & Visiting Wellness Gurus

The two Four Seasons Resorts in Bali each offer comprehensive yoga programs in invigorating settings – one nestled amidst the jungle of the Sayan Valley, and the other perched on the edge of the sparkling Indian Ocean. Daily classes include the fun and dynamic AntiGravity® or ‘flying' yoga, Power Yoga, Laughter Yoga, Full Moon Yoga and Night Fire Yoga. The resorts also invite internationally-renowned fitness, yoga and wellness masters to lead additional classes every month through their inspiring Visiting Practitioners program. The VP program expands upon the regular schedule and offers guests greater variety of classes and instructors to keep them inspired and motivated to maintain wellness routines while on holiday.

Scenic Cycling Adventures

Four Seasons Sayan is the perfect base for guided cycling journeys to view the stunning scenery of central Bali and gain insights into real Balinese life. The resort's fitness centre staff provide complimentary 60-minute tours of the neighbouring village, or for some real adventure, embark on an endurance cycling tour. The 4-hour Kintamani tour starts at the viewpoint of Mount Batur's volcanic crater and winds down through 30 kilometres of traditional villages and past an ancient temple, while the 3-hour Bongkasa Village tour goes off-the-beaten-track for 20 kilometres of jaw-dropping rice field landscapes that will take you back to times past and reveal how much of Bali there is still to discover.

Whitewater Rafting

Exhilarating as it is scenic, the Four Seasons private whitewater rafting experience will tone your upper body and torso as you work your way through the rapids on a two-hour journey down the Ayung River. A brief stop at a riverside holy water spring will purify your spirit before continuing the journey and landing directly back at Four Seasons Sayan's Riverside Pool for some well-earned relaxation.

Heli-Surfing & Ocean Sports

Chase the waves and avoid the crowds with Asia's first heli-surfing tour, exclusive to Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay and Tropicsurf. A 45-minute helicopter flight takes adventurous surfers to the legendary Grajagan (better known as G-Land) on the edge of a national park on neighboring Java island. Land just steps from the surf for unprecedented, fuss-free access to uncrowded waves otherwise difficult to access by road. With a high wave count compared to Bali's popular and easier-to-access breaks, surfers will return to the resort satisfied and surfed-out from getting barrelled all day long. The resort also offers kayaking, windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding from its Coconut Grove private retreat on Jimbaran Beach.

International Tennis Program

A new tennis program run by Peter Burwash International has been launched along with an international-standard hard court offering a high performance surface similar to the US Open and many ATP and WTA tour events. A full menu of tennis activities for adults and children includes daily clinics and private instruction, junior tennis, social mixers, drill workouts and player matching services.
