Silversea Announces Exclusive Enrichment Program on Silver Spirit Mediterranean Cruise
This special "Farewell Mediterranean" voyage celebrates the culmination of a fantastic season sailing the waters of the Mediterranean.

Contemporary impressionist painter Alexandre Renoir, great-grandson of French impressionist painter Pierre-August Renoir, will be on board to present lectures about his famous ancestor's life and demonstrate his own artistic talents. This unique voyage features an overnight stay in Livorno, gateway to the artistic treasures of Florence, as well as calls in Monte Carlo, Marseille, Porto Mahon, and Palma de Mallorca. During the visit to Monte Carlo, Renoir will host an exclusive optional shore excursion to his estate at Cagnes-sur-Mer, where Pierre-August Renoir spent the last years of his life.

Also on board will be Erik Arnecke, chef of the Michelin-starred Philipp Soldan restaurant, located at Germany's Die Sonne Frankenberg Hotel, a Relais & Châteaux member property, and Fabio Pisani, chef of the two Michelin-starred Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia, a Relais & Châteaux restaurant in Milan, Italy. They will combine their extraordinary culinary talents to present an unparalleled program of informative cooking demonstrations and grand gourmet dinners.

"We're delighted to showcase the talents of these masters of art and cuisine," said Kristian Anderson, Silversea's senior vice president and general manager for the Americas. "We know our guests will enjoy enriching their minds with front-row seats to this extraordinary cultural and culinary experience."

Other highlights include a culinary demonstration program with specialized workshops and lively cooking competitions hosted by acclaimed culinary trainer David Bilsland, who oversees Silversea's L'École des Chefs program, the only Relais & Châteaux cooking school at sea.

Plus, a wine enrichment program will spotlight a collection of some of Italy's finest vintages selected exclusively for Silversea guests by Comitato Grandi Cru d'Italia, an association of top Italian winemakers. Gennaro Buono, award-winning sommelier of the two Michelin-starred Il Pagliaccio, a Relais & Châteaux restaurant in Rome, Italy, will lead the guests in the discovery of Italian wine secrets.

Fares start from $3,850 per person, based on double occupancy. For more details, please visit Silver Spirit Voyage 5533.
