The Ritz-Carlton, Denver Finds a Forever Home for Fostered Puppy
Just over 10 weeks ago, the pups’ mother was rescued from a rescued from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico by local non-profit MaxFund No-Kill Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. Soon after arriving to MaxFund, she gave birth to six pups; each was given a fish name. Max Fund partnered with the area Marriott Business Council for a new program, “It's A Dogs Life!" where the six puppies would be fostered by six area Marriott International hotels including The Ritz-Carlton. All of the pups enjoyed their foster families while living at the hotels as they mingled with guests daily in the lobbies and common areas; all were successfully adopted along with Guppy after being in foster care for two weeks. Fun facts about Guppy: he was the runt of the litter, he was born on January 21, 2017, plans to visit his Ritz-Carlton, Denver foster family often and he loves to play with other canines.

MaxFund is a true no kill animal shelter and adoption center that challenges the traditional methods of animal sheltering by leading the no kill movement in Colorado. They strive to give animals, including the injured, abandoned, and abused, a "second chance at life." Since inception, the organization found forever homes for 30,533 dogs and cats, and spayed/neutered 45,438. https://maxfund.org/
