Weekend Away: Downtown Miami

Weekend Away: Downtown Miami
From the InterContinental Miami's 200-foot high digital canvas showcasing skyline dancers high above the bay to the dozens of swanky restaurants making the move from the Beach to downtown, the center of gravity is shifting in Miami.

Once business is done for the day and the sun goes down, the area is transformed into a pedestrian nightlife scene where locals and visitors can be seen walking from their condo or hotel to various restaurants, bars and clubs. Restaurants such as Toro Toro, Zuma, and Cipriani cater to these crowds by staying open late and offering high quality food and drinks in sophisticated atmospheres, where business and leisure travelers can all feel at home. China Grill, the longtime SoBe mainstay, is on its way to Brickell Avenue later this year.

Entertainment options are endless – from taking in Miami Heat, to catching a concert or play at the Adrianne Arsht Center for Performing Arts. And of course, night owls have their choice of clubs, with the newest debut – E11EVEN staying open 24/7.

Speaking of Toro Toro, the sleek, sexy restaurant and lounge in Downtown Miami just announced the launch of its new fall menu featuring delectable small plates, Prime steaks, fresh seafood and creative desserts and cocktails.
