Face & Body Treatments By Guerlain

Hôtel du Palais' connection with Guerlain runs deeper than a combined commitment to excellence. The classic French beauty brand's most famous cologne, Eau de Cologne Impériale, was created in 1858 as a gift for Empress Eugénie, the wife of Emperor Napoléon III, the original owners of Hôtel du Palais. The Guerlain Impérial Massage (50 min; £102) pays homage to this cologne. Transporting guests into a peace-like state, it is a multi-sensorial experience that inspires complete calm while facilitating oxygenation, stimulating circulation and leaving the body totally relaxed and invigorated.

New Treatment: Super Aqua Original Source Treatment (80 min; £162)

Leaving skin supple and radiant, this face and body treatment is the ultimate hydration boost. Using the enhanced hydrating powers of Guerlain's cult skincare product, Super Aqua Serum, skin is left revitalized with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles reduced. The facial treatment is followed by a full body relaxing massage.

Imperial Spa Signature Treatment (80 min; £145)

Unique to Hôtel du Palais, the Imperial Spa Signature Treatment is a tailor-made massage designed to appeal to the senses. At the start of the treatment guests are asked to pick a semi-precious stone from a selection including, red jasper, cornaline, yellow tiger eye, jade and light blue agate, which will help establish their mood. The color of the stone will then determine the light and scent of room, the music played, the oil used, the type and strength of the massage and finally the flavour of the post treatment smoothie.

Imperial Spa Programmes

The team of experts at The Imperial Spa can tailor programmes to individual skin and body needs, catering to personal expectations and chosen objectives. Programmes can vary in length however the most popular are between three and six days. The Imperial Spa Silhouette Programme (3 days £795; 6 days £1,446) offers a choice of treatments focusing on different areas of the mind and body, including a Slimming Prelude Day that includes a body scrub, draining massage and power plate; Serenity Day, which includes Balneotherapy (soothing bath with draining oils) and pilates; and Lightness Day, with slimming wrap, aromatherapy massage and facial.

Leonor Greyl Hair-Care Institute

Much more than a regular hotel hair salon, The Leonor Greyl Hair-Care Institute at Hôtel du Palais is a sophisticated one-stop-shop to eliminating hair and scalp dilemmas. The process starts with a consultation during which the hair and scalp is analysed using a microscopic machine. A tailored and highly personalised hair mask is then applied using Leonor Greyl's high quality and effective products. This customised treatment uses 100% natural blends of plant extracts that nourish the hair from within. The scalp is left healthier, hair is moisturised and the tips revitalised (treatment from £102).

Sport & Wellbeing

Health conscious guests can partake in body evaluation and life assessment treatments which analyse physical condition, lifestyle and eating habits to create long term programmes that they can take away. Pilates, yoga, swimming, aquaphobia (wellbeing sessions in the pool for those with a fear of water), muscle strengthening and body sculpting are part of the selection of fitness classes available.
