1 Hotel South Beach Announces Opening of First Bamford Haybarn Spa in the U.S.

Serving as the first Bamford Haybarn Spa in the US, the new spa, rooted in a strong commitment to caring for the mind, body and spirit, based around a heartfelt connection with nature, will provide a calming spa retreat for guests and locals looking to nurture themselves through specialty treatments, including massages and facials, as well as yoga, Pilates and meditation. Helmed by company founder and organic pioneer, Carole Bamford, the spa's natural and sustainable philosophy mirrors the 1 Hotels' brand mission to provide a unique experience to relax and escape.

The Bamford Haybarn Spa will be a newly-constructed, 4,500 square foot space featuring 12 spacious treatment rooms, three manicure and pedicure stations and a relaxation area known as The Woodland Room. The Woodland Room will feature a bespoke central water fountain to create a unique atmosphere of calm, peace and reflection. Spa guests will also be able to enjoy more extensive spa treatments in the Willow Rooms, comprised of two larger, suite-style treatment rooms, where couples treatments will be available.

The Bamford Haybarn Spa at 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach is set to offer an assortment of holistic body treatments and massages that encourage positive flows of energy, as well as facial treatments using Bamford's award-winning natural and organic skincare line.

A hand and foot ritual will start each treatment and a selection of men's treatments have been specially curated for the new menu. Guests looking to enjoy the ultimate luxurious experience are encouraged to book one of the several treatment packages for a full day of pampering.

The Haybarn Wellness package will include a private yoga session in a relaxing room or beach area, a signature body treatment and a selection of detox and energizing juices to nourish from within. Exclusive to the South Beach location, Bamford has created a specially curated menu for the location, ideal for sun-filled trips to Miami. True to 1 Hotels' philosophy, Bamford guests will be pampered with the brand's own organic signature body collection, using the finest natural ingredients, carefully chosen to be free from harmful chemicals.

Designed by luxury hotel and spa designer Spencer Fung, the spa will incorporate 1 Hotels' brand mission of sustainability into its design and décor, featuring ash log walls from reclaimed ash trees, reclaimed hickory floors from recycled timbers and reclaimed willow bundles from salvaged trees. Men's and women's changing rooms will both feature steam rooms.

In addition to skincare and body products, the spa's retail store will include Bamford's ready to wear and accessories line, made with the finest natural fibers, carefully sourced from artisans from around the world. Bamford will open a second Haybarn Spa in the U.S. next year with 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, slated to open in February 2017.
