An Enchanting Concept Store to Visit in Ho Chi Minh City

Nestled in a hidden alleyway in the bustling center of Ho Chi Minh City, connecting Tran Hung Dao street and Co Bac street, Galerie Mode is a place for the arts & beauty lovers, a curious mind on a quest for something unique and meaningful.

The concept store which had a soft opening in June 2022, gives travelers, art lovers and crafts aficionados a chance to browse eco-luxury resortwear, jewelry and homeware that tell the story of Vietnamese craftsmanship. In the store, the arts, accessories and garments are presented in a collective manner, just as they would be in your real home.

Founded and curated by Mimi-Minh Nguyen, a Vietnam-born, Paris-raised entrepreneur, Galerie Mode features a contemporary interior design that fuses European architecture with traditional Vietnamese. Visitors are welcomed with a comforting ambience for an experience that nurtures the senses.

Galerie Mode is a concept that merges timeless design with sustainability and personal experience.

On display in the store are beautiful hats and resort wear, athleisure apparels and artisanal jewelry by independent designer brands from local and all over the world. We focus on a selection of natural materials, including signature natural raffia that can be reshaped, washed and ironed, linen, bamboo cotton, pearls... By bringing the visitors an experience touch point within the store, Galerie Mode evokes a journey to the world of art through carefully-curated selections of experience for them.

Driven by the idea that “Art means different things to different people”, Galerie Mode is the place to find your own art. Be it a hat that makes you feel lovely in, a fringy bucket bag in nontraditional shapes, a pair of bespoke pants, or an artsy piece of ornaments for your home decoration at Christmas, Galerie Mode has something to bring to the table.

There is no rule for art. Art can be a photo, a pair of shoes, a bag, a hat, a piece of clothing that makes you feel great.

Galerie Mode founder Mimi-Minh Nguyen wants to change the way you shop

Every journey has a starting point. To Mimi-Minh Nguyen, it’s the journeys she had been through throughout the time she lived abroad at her young age and her family hat-making tradition. Working on multiple fashion projects with boundless energy, the woman remains strong on the belief that fashion should be an encouragement for people to feel cozy in their own skin and to embrace sensitivity.

Life is a non-stop journey for Mimi-Minh Nguyen. She left Vietnam at 15 to study A-levels in London, moved to Paris to study and work in the creative industry, then brought her Paris-based eco-luxury label Leinné back to her homeland. Prior to co-founding Leinné, Mimi worked as a blogger, brand consultant and stylist, in which the experience from her internships in design at multiple businesses helped her mature. Today, Mimi dedicates her working time to creative direction, business management and styling for her projects.

She opts for classic with a twist and discreet sensuality in her everyday style. Her wardrobe staples include tailored white men's shirts and trousers, Jane Birkin-inspired looks with jeans, bodysuits and hats. She loves white tops and shorts from her brand Gosker for utmost comfort.
