Baur au Lac Hosts Noted Vegan Chef Tal Ronnen For Food Zurich Festival
Chef Ronnen will bring his refined plant-based Mediterranean cuisine to the Baur au Lac, creating an entirely vegan menu for the event. Inspired by Baur au Lac's Rive Gauche Chef Olivier Rais's recent visit to Chef Ronnen's restaurant, Crossroads, the menu will feature specialties such as Agnolotti with Sundried Tomatoes and Almond Ricotta and Pumpkin Cream Soup.

The four-course "Crossroads Meats Our Veggies" menu will be priced from $125 per guest (including a welcome drink). The title of the menu stems from Rive Gauche's slogan, "Meat our Veggies," indicative of the restaurant's focus on both meat and vegetable specialties.

Chef Tal Ronnen is a New York Times best-selling cookbook author of The Conscious Cook and Crossroads. A graduate of the National Gourmet Institute, he also conducts master vegetarian workshops at the Cordon Bleu colleges in the US. A favorite among celebrities, he has created menus for Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi and Steve Wynn.

The Food Zürich festival runs from September 8 through 18, 2016 and will feature more than 50 events sponsored by hotels, restaurants and gastronomic companies around Zürich.
