Guests of all ages and abilities can discover this lesser known Indian Ocean surf destination by creating an experience that is exclusive to them. Whether choosing to explore the best waves around the island each day, or focusing on mastering yoga postures in the hilltop Spa's open-air yoga pavilion, guests can enjoy their personalized retreat all whilst being surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Seychelles.
An island first, the Resort is offering three retreats which include varying amounts of private yoga classes and guided surf lessons under the expert eyes of a TropicSurf instructor. The entry retreat, ‘A Dip in the Ocean’, includes a taste of surf, yoga and massage, while the second retreat, ‘Go With The Flow’, has a heavier focus on yoga, and the third retreat, ‘The Perfect Wave’, is aimed at surfers who wish to spend more time in the water improving their skill or learning to surf.
General Manager, Adrian Messerli commented: “Seychelles might not be the world’s most famous surf destination, but the islands do benefit from some great waves that are still uncrowded and relatively unheard of. Through our partnership with Tropicsurf, we have dedicated surf instruction available at the Resort, helping guests to learn more of this sport at their own pace. These new retreats help to showcase the very best surf spots on the island, all in combination with maximizing a true sense of well-being through tailored Spa and yoga offerings from our award-winning Spa."
To recover and indulge, a surfer’s massage designed to soothe tired muscles can be added to any Retreat, or to continue the adventure, guests may opt to try stand up paddle boarding in Petite Anse bay, either as a guided lesson or simply by renting the equipment by the hour.
The Surf and Yoga Retreats are available as from 495 Euros per person. Further information can be found on the Resort’s website. To make a reservation, e-mail Reservations.Sey@fourseasons.com or call +248 4393000.
