Maine's Camden Harbour Inn Awarded Four Diamonds
Camden Harbour Inn and Natalie's Restaurant – the signature award-winning dining outlet of the 18- room luxurious Inn - perched upon a stunning Maine hillside with views of picturesque Camden Harbour, Mount Battie and Penobscot Bay - have once again ranked among the top hotels and restaurants in the Pine Tree State, earning Four Diamonds from AAA, thanks to Inn Co-Owners Raymond Brunyanszki and Oscar Verest and Executive Chef Lawrence Klang.

The AAA Diamond Awards are North America's most coveted symbol of excellence in the industry, with stringent guidelines to attain Four Diamond status. Four Diamond restaurants must cater to individuals in search of a distinctive fine-dining experience with menus that reflect a high degree of creativity, using imaginative presentations to enhance high quality, market-fresh ingredients. The equally proficient service staff demonstrates a strong desire to meet or exceed guest expectations and the ambiance is highly refined, comfortable and well-coordinated, incorporating quality materials and in luxurious design. Four Diamond properties must offer refined and stylish accommodations with a high level of quality throughout, include an extensive array of amenities combined with superior service and attention to detail.

"We are so proud of Chef Klang, our innkeepers Patty and Joerg Ross and the entire Camden Harbour Inn and Natalie’s team for receiving AAA Four Diamonds. Because of their ongoing dedication in creating an exceptional experience for every guest, we are now the only property in Camden with 4 diamonds for both the inn and restaurant" said Raymond Brunyanszki, co-owner of Natalie's and the Camden Harbour Inn.

Built originally as a lodging establishment in 1874, the historic Camden Harbour Inn was painstakingly renovated last year following a more than $2 million refit, which has transformed the property into an exquisite boutique hotel, hailed for its sophisticated décor, impeccable service and gourmet dining. Natalies – replete with a bar designed around doors salvaged from a French convent - offers sumptuous Modern French cuisine – as well as a 200 specialty wines from its exceptional wine cellar – all in a beautiful relaxed setting without the pressure of formal attire.

Chef Klang, a seasoned culinary wizard and Maine Lobster Chef Of The Year 2008 People's Choice Award winner, is hailed for his creatively inspired dishes combining French techniques and diverse international influences with the freshest local ingredients and regional flavors. He received his formal culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu L’Art Culinaire, London, and has worked in kitchens including at London’s Claridge’s Hotel; Restaurant Jacques Maximin, Vence, France; Criolla’s Restaurant, Grayton Beach, Florida, Restaurant Saint Emillion, Fort Worth, Texas, and, most recently, Fish out of Water, Watercolor Inn, Florida. Everything at Natalie’s is made from scratch, and the menu changes seasonally.

The Camden Harbour Inn offers world-class service and amenities, and 18 unique guestrooms and suites - each with a distinct style and dazzling view – and every conceivable modern convenience. Opulently decorated with a stylish mix of rare antiques and modern chic designs, several guestrooms offer wood burning fireplaces, balconies and/or private decks. With its inviting wrap-around porch, white clapboard siding, fine roof lines and stunning views, the Inn attracts a discerning upscale clientele who return often to experience one of New England’s most tranquil, inspired and treasured settings.
