Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, a beacon of luxury and gastronomy in the heart of the city, continues to push culinary boundaries with its exclusive Majestic Wine Dinners. These intimate bi-monthly dinners redefine traditional fine dining by designing the menu around a curated selection of wines, ensuring a gastronomic experience where flavors, aromas, and textures are harmoniously aligned.

Typically, wine pairings complement pre-existing dishes. However, the Majestic Wine Dinners reverse this approach, allowing the selected wines to dictate the menu. Every two months, the hotel partners with a distinguished winery to craft a dining experience that embodies the essence of the wines and the philosophy of the winemakers. The series debuted on October 5, 2023, in collaboration with Castell d'Encus Winery, setting the stage for an ongoing journey through the finest wine and food pairings.

Upcoming Wine Dinner: February 20, 2025 – An Unparalleled Evening with Tempos Vega Sicilia

The next edition of Majestic Wine Dinners will take place on February 20, 2025, at the hotel’s acclaimed Restaurant SOLC. This exclusive evening will feature an extraordinary collaboration between Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany and David Romero, executive chef of Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, who will create a four-hands menu that enhances the character of eight exceptional wines from the Tempos Vega Sicilia group.

The highlight of the evening includes a rare vertical tasting of three Vega Sicilia Unico, offering guests a unique journey through three decades of winemaking excellence. Additional highlights include magnum-format selections such as Valbuena 2018, Alión 2018, and Macán 2020 from the Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia wineries. Guests will also enjoy the exclusive presence of Mr. Pablo Álvarez, owner of Vega Sicilia, who will personally guide the experience, sharing insider knowledge and the history behind each wine.
