New Rome Art Week Experience from Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese

Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese, together with Kiki Beccaria and Christopher Daley deSarzana of Italian bespoke travel company DolceDiscovery, introduce a new Rome Art Week Experience for unparalleled insider access. Through tailored art experiences each day, travelers will be immersed into the cultural identity of Rome through its art, places, and people.

To start, guests will visit the “Among the locales of the Baroque – Gagosian” exhibit. Next, they will experience “Lights, Shadows and... Neo-Gothic Nightmares,” a vernissage that includes an immersion into history and contemporary art on the Via Appia. Finally, they will be guided through “Eloquent Space” at a private artist’s studio in an intimate home gallery with a terrace view overlooking Rome. The tours, each lasting four hours, are divided into three moments - the story of the physical environments through crucial historical identity, contemporary art galleries and their vision, and the events being celebrated.

For those looking to venture beyond the city, an optional full day escape is available to visit a baroque villa with garden and water features accompanied by a contemporary art themed private garden. This “Land of Art and Artful Land” experience allows guests to enjoy autumn in Tuscia with the natural colors and foliage. A relaxing visit to a local natural hot spring can be added to follow the tour’s activities as an additional inclusion.

All activities include an English speaking guide, entrance fees and donations, and transportation.

The new Rome Art Week package also includes a three-night stay at Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese, breakfast each day, and one dinner at the hotel’s rooftop Settimo Restaurant for two people.

The Rome Art Week package starts at €950 per day in a superior room and €1,250 per day in a luxury room. A three night minimum applies. For reservations, email h1312-re@sofitel.com. For more info on Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese, visit https://all.accor.com/hotel/1312/index.en.shtml#origin=sofitel.
