QT Sydney recently unveiled its newest collaboration with MasterChef Australia winner and Netflix's Sugar Rush host Adriano Zumbo for a brand-new high tea experience: QTea, a high tea not for the faint of heart.
The new QTea by Adriano Zumbo combines Chef Zumbo’s imaginative style with QT Sydney’s panache in an extravagant menu that features a variety of sweet and savory dishes. “I’m not one to do things the traditional way,” says Chef Zumbo. “I wanted to work with QT’s signature quirkiness and create an experience guests would never expect. Forget sensible finger sandwiches or stuffy service, QTea is for guests looking for a sugar rush with a side of theatrics.”
The menu line-up includes traditional dishes updated with a Zumbo touch such as Sconez, a twist on a classic scone with Tasmanian strawberry, lemon myrtle jam and clotted cream. Next come Zumbo's classic passionfruit tart and his signature colorful macarons. Savory dishes include smoked salmon and caviar, lobster rolls, goat cheese tarts and many other classic dishes served with a selection of Champagne, cocktails and tea. Everything is artfully arranged on custom stands specially designed for QTea.
