Refresh Your Mind, Body and Soul at Edgewood Tahoe with the Return of Taholistic

Edgewood Tahoe Resort, the award-winning luxury resort located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, continues to secure its position as a leading wellness retreat with the return of Taholistic this April. Taholisitic offers guests a rejuvenating lineup of activities and experiences designed to connect the mind, body and soul back to what matters most.

The Taholistic experience begins with a refreshing arrival beverage of San Pellegrino sparkling water with a splash of blueberry, pomegranate, or naturally sugar-free rose hip juice to begin their revitalizing wellness journey. Virtual in-room amenities are available to clear the mind. Guests will find a meditation and breathwork exercise courtesy of Still Water Yoga Lake Tahoe and an exclusive Edgewood sleep story to drift into restful slumber with the natural soundscape of Lake Tahoe narrated by the soothing voice of Otis Gray.

Taholistic provides wellness activities to reset and recharge throughout the week. Guests may sign up for an introductory class to learn the fundamentals and benefits of Tai Chi, the practice of movement to improve strength, flexibility, aerobic conditioning and balance, every Thursday at 4 p.m. Guests can make their own Epsom salt solutions, eucalyptus shower steamers, smudge sticks or sugar scrubs every Friday at 2:30 p.m. with a new do-it-yourself class to create essentials that aid in self-care practices. After the do-it-yourself class, guests can attend a soulfully renewing après yoga session at 4 p.m. with Still Water Yoga Lake Tahoe to decompress and refresh. Resort guests may participate in a mountain morning yoga session on Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30 a.m. to engross themselves in the present moment.

Various other renewing programs will be offered throughout April. Join Edgewood’s lead bartender and mixologist on Saturday, April 8, 15 and 29 to create your own nutrient-dense mocktail masterpiece. Resort guests may sign up for a guided nature walk through the beautiful Lam Watah Nature Trail on Tuesday, April 11 and 25. On Tuesday, April 4 and 18, guests may partake in a guided nature walk on the Edgewood property to discuss sustainable initiatives and the importance of being stewards of the land. Each participant will be given a gift to commemorate Edgewood Tahoe’s sustainability commitment.

Throughout April, guests are invited to indulge in various food and beverage options that highlight health and wellness at each of Edgewood Tahoe’s restaurants. From homemade classics inspired by the region at Bistro Edgewood to fine dining at Edgewood Restaurant, the elite team of nationally recognized chefs is ready to cook a healthy meal to satisfy guests.
