Sicily's Verdura Golf & Spa Resort Introduces Tennis Program
The glamour of the Grand Slam arrives at Verdura Golf & Spa Resort Tennis Academy with week-long appearances by ex-professional players from the international circuit. Through a partnership with Sunball Tennis, which has worked with the likes of Thomas Enqvist and Pat Cash, the exclusive tennis camp events offer guests the opportunity to train with and play against some of the sport's most skilled players. In addition, guests can pick up tips and tricks and even socialize with the pros.

During the week of Sept. 21 to 26, Verdura Golf & Spa Resort will welcome tennis player Paul Haarhuis to its courts. The former number one-ranked doubles player in the world will spend a week at the resort teaching and coaching future tennis stars. He will offer a three-day coaching program for two hours per day at a rate of $270. He will also battle it out against the pros at the resort in an exhibition match that will be open to all resort guests. Private lessons will also be available upon request.
