The St. Regis San Francisco Debuts Exclusive Chocolatier Packages
These one-of-a-kind experiences include a luxurious two-night stay at The St. Regis San Francisco, daily breakfast and private factory tours and chocolate tasting and making experiences at Dandelion Chocolate, San Francisco's premier artisan bean-to-bar factory.

“Uncompromising luxury and small-batch gourmet chocolate come together to form the new Chocolatier packages, created for guests who seek to experience the very best of what the Bay Area has to offer,” said Toni Knorr, general manager of The St. Regis San Francisco. “By partnering with Dandelion Chocolate, a local company inspired by a lifetime love of chocolate, we're able to offer a customized, uniquely San Francisco experience that is not only exclusive, but reflective of our goal of providing unparalleled experiences and amenities for our guests.”

Dandelion Chocolate is one of the only factories that sources high quality cocoa beans directly, crafting their products in tiny batches in order to bring out the individual flavors and nuances of each bean.

The St. Regis San Francisco Chocolatier packages provide two indulgent options for guests to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Dandelion Chocolate, located in San Francisco's burgeoning Mission District. Package options include:

Tasting & Tour: Dandelion Small Batch Chocolate

Guests receive a comprehensive look into chocolate making with an in-depth tasting of single origin chocolate bars and a guided tour through the factory to explore the production process. The afternoon ends with a private tasting of hot chocolate and pastries from Dandelion Café. Rates for the Dandelion Chocolate Aficionado “Tasting & Tour” package start at $780 (includes two night's accommodations and breakfast).

Chocolate Making & Tasting at Dandelion Chocolates

Guests experience a day-in-the-life of a chocolatier with the opportunity to make their own batch of chocolate in a private session. The experience starts with a tasting of a variety of roasted nibs and exploring the techniques for flavor development and production. Then, guests are guided through the process of turning raw beans into roasted nibs and leave with finished, but un-tempered chocolate, which is great for nibbling or for baking. Halfway through the class, guests will enjoy professionally made treats from Dandelion's Café before formulating their own single-origin or blended dark chocolate. Rates for the Dandelion Chocolate Aficionado “Chocolate Making & Tasting” package start at $1,230 (includes two night's accommodations and breakfast).
